Following the recent committee meeting the new  Biggleswade cancer Support Group web site was approved and put into place.

We will now be putting out news, contact details and meetings information on the new site.

Hi everyone
 Sorry I was not with at last meeting, I was enjoying a well needed family holiday in Uxbridge South Wales. Beautiful weather and lovely area, well worth a visit. So,  hope you will all be attending at next meeting which is Thursday 21st  if i have my dates correct !!, plus we have a guest Liz, who is going to get us all fit  well I expect she hopes to get us all fit, so come in your comfy clothes and and enjoy a gentle ( I hope ) work out. Look foward to seeing you all and enjoying our usual giggle

COMMITTEE MEETING

Hello All
Today we had our annual committee meeting and reviewed and agreed the new constitution. This will now guide our work for the next few years.

Some good ideas were also put forward and agreed, these being about providing more help at meetings by sharing experiences of places to visit for therapy, relaxation or just nice places to take a break. We will also consider some group outings where we can visit places together.
The new advert / flyers are nearly ready and will soon be distributed in the area. Look out for them in shops in Biggleswade town centre and Saxon Gate, Langford, Potton and villages.

NEW DATES FOR 2014

The meeting dates for the next few months will be:
The first  and third  THURSDAY of the month

May 12th
June 5th and 19th
July 3rd and 17th
August 7th and 21st
September 4th and 18th
October 2nd and 16th
November 6th and 20th
December 4th and 18th

Time is 1pm to 3pm

With more funding and sponsorship we can schedule more meetings, we will post an update if this happens

A Good Meeting
last weeks meeting was a very good show and we had 3 new visitors come along to our meeting
We discussed changing the day of the week so we don't clash with Bank Holidays so much and this was agreed to be a good idea.

SPRING AT LAST

Good meeting yesterday with 10 people.
Please note we are planning to change the day to Tuesday in the near future so we dont clash with Bank hols.
